Happy Kids

PhotoVoice

A resilience building program with school age kids using disposable cameras to capture what inspires strength, connection, and hope.

Safe Rx

Storage & Disposal 

Promotion of drug takeback days, use of Deterra bags, and information about prescription drug misuse.

PBCHP partners with Knox and Waldo county sheriffs offices to provide and promote Deterra bags being available to the public.

Harm Reduction Promotion

Community promotion of naloxone use, awanress about the Good Samaritan law, and community use of safe needle exchange.

Tobacco Policy &

Prevention Education

Education about tobacco use prevention (including vaping). Education around the tobacco quitlink, policies for business and schools, and other prevention tobacco assistance. 

Healthy Salad

Nutrition Education

Young Dad

Recovery and Reentry Support

PBCHP partners with the Coastal Recovery Community Center, Journey Magazine, Volunteers of America, the local recovery community and many others to fight stigma around substance use disorder. You can read our stories of recovery that aim to dispel sitmga and show that long term recovery works.

PBCHP also partners withe Volunteers of America to provide backpacks full of supplies for people exiting incarceration and re-entering the community.
