Responsible Beverage Server  (RBS) Training

Responsible Beverage Service training teaches servers to responsibly serve alcoholic beverages for on-premises consumption and mitigate alcohol-related harm in our communities.

Storage & Disposal

Promotion of drug takeback days, use of biodegradable prescription medication disposal (Deterra) bags, and vital information about prescription drug misuse.

PBCHP partners with the Knox and Waldo County Sheriff's Offices to provide and promote Deterra bags being available to the public. 

​Emerging Substance-Use Concerns for Teachers & Parents Presentation

Presentation covering emerging and relevant substance-use concerns for parents and teachers to be aware of. Includes topics such as prescription medication misuse, counterfeit pills, kratom, delta-8, underage drinking and cannabis use, fentanyl, and other concerns. 

PhotoVoice

A resilience building program with school age kids using disposable cameras to capture what inspires strength, connection, and hope.

By offering opportunites to engage with basic and essential nutrition concepts, while also making available various nutrition security resources, we hope to support the resilience and good health of all our midcoast neighbors.

PBCHP partners with the Coastal Recovery Community Center, Journey Magazine, Volunteers of America, the local recovery community and many others to fight stigma around substance use disorder.

CATCH My Breath Program

An interactive and engaging curriculum-based educational program to intended to help address vaping and tobacco use in the student population. 

Free Recipe Card Project

Promotes accessible, culturally diverse, and waste-reducing recipes tailored to align with market inventory, fostering community engagement and supporting member's unique nutritional and cooking needs.

PBCHP and Maine SNAP-Ed have partnered with AIO Food Pantry to provide this resource to market visitors at no cost.

A Naloxone training that focuses on stigma reduction, community safety, and overdose response. Important, empowering information for youth and adults of all ages.

We partner with the Volunteers of America Northern New England to provide brand-new backpacks full of supplies, resources & information for people exiting incarceration and re-entering the community.

Prime for Life Program

Prime for Life is an evidence-based and interactive educational program that focuses on substance use prevention, including alcohol and cannabis, at the universal, selected, or indicated levels within the student body.
